Service Project at the Humanitarian Service Project in Carol Stream. We will be setting up their warehouse for their Christmas Project. This project serves seniors enrolled in the Senior Citizen Project and children under age 12 that are enrolled in the Children’s Project along with their siblings up to 15 years of age. The goal of the annual Christmas Project is to provide children and the elderly with presents to open on Christmas day and nutritious food to create meals to celebrate during the holiday season. Last year they served over 1,700 children and 245 seniors and we kick this off for them by setting up their warehouse! This project is in lieu of a regular meeting.
